60-Second Coaching Tips

One Change at a Time

When correcting a problem, do not change line, stance, delivery and weight together.

Main Coaching Tip

Make one evidence-based adjustment and observe the result.

Why It Matters

Multiple simultaneous changes hide cause and effect. If the bowl improves, you cannot tell which change worked. If it gets worse, confidence drops and correction becomes guesswork. One controlled change gives cleaner feedback and builds trust in your process.

Try This on the Rink

Pick the main issue first: line or length. Change one variable only for three to five bowls, then review the pattern. Keep notes if possible. If there is no improvement, revert and test a different single change. This protects rhythm and reduces over-correction.
