60-Second Coaching Tips

Do Not Chase the Previous Bowl

One wide bowl does not automatically require a large correction.

Main Coaching Tip

Look for a pattern before making a major adjustment.

Why It Matters

Reactive corrections can create alternating misses and hide the true cause. Big changes after single bowls often increase uncertainty and tension. A pattern across several deliveries is stronger evidence than one emotional reaction.

Try This on the Rink

After one miss, make only a small adjustment or none at all, then observe the next two bowls. Decide if the issue is line or length before changing anything else. This protects rhythm and improves confidence in your decision process.
